Who we are
BMO Projects Ltd operates the I Sabi Millions waitlist at isabimillions.com. We are the data controller for the information you provide when you sign up. Contact us at legal@isabimillions.com.
What we collect and why
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
Email address (required). We use it to notify you when I Sabi Millions launches, to send you reminders before launch, and for ongoing news and updates about the app after launch.
Mobile phone number (optional). If you provide it, we may contact you by SMS or WhatsApp with the same communications. You can give or withhold your number independently of your email.
We rely on your consent as our lawful basis. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying STOP to any SMS, or by writing to legal@isabimillions.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of communications we sent while you were subscribed.
Where your data goes
Your details are stored and processed by:
Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA) — our email list provider, which stores your email address, phone number (if given), subscription status, and referral code.
Vercel (USA) — our website host, which runs the signup function. Vercel's analytics counts page visits but does not receive the details you enter in the form.
Sendchamp (Nigeria) — our primary provider for SMS and WhatsApp communications to the phone number you provide. Sendchamp is a Nigerian company; delivery of messages to your number does not constitute a cross-border transfer.
Africa’s Talking Limited (Kenya) — backup SMS provider. Where Africa’s Talking processes your phone number, the transfer to Kenya is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Transfers of your data to Mailchimp and Vercel in the United States, and to Africa’s Talking in Kenya, are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses which provide an adequate level of protection under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Sendchamp is based in Nigeria; no cross-border transfer applies. When you visit this page, your browser also contacts Google Fonts (USA) for typography and Cloudflare (USA) for a visual element; no details you enter are shared with them.
Referrals
If you joined through a friend's link, we note that on your Mailchimp record. We do not reveal your details to the person who referred you, and your email address cannot be read from the referral code. No reward is offered or promised for referrals.
How long we keep your data
We keep your details for as long as you remain subscribed. After the launch of I Sabi Millions we will continue to use your contact details for app-related news and updates, in line with the consent you gave when you signed up. You can unsubscribe or ask for deletion at any time at legal@isabimillions.com. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to how we use it. Contact our Data Protection Officer, Morenikeji Oyenuga, at legal@isabimillions.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.
