I Sabi Millions is a live trivia game show built for the whole of Nigeria — and beyond. Our community is made up of people from every state, background, language group, and walk of life. These Community Guidelines exist to make sure that every player feels welcome, safe, and respected, whether they're chatting in the live game feed or interacting with the I Sabi Millions community anywhere else on our platform.
These Guidelines apply to all user-generated content and interactions on the App, on our website (isabimillions.com), and on any official I Sabi Millions social channels. They form part of our Terms of Use. Breaching these Guidelines may result in enforcement action up to and including permanent account closure.
1. The Spirit of I Sabi Millions
"I Sabi" — I know. That's the spirit of this game. We are here to celebrate knowledge, quick thinking, and the joy of competition across a community that is proudly Nigerian and proudly diverse.
We want every Game Session to feel like a big room where everyone is welcome — loud, fun, and competitive, but also respectful. The chat, the reactions, and the community interactions around the show are part of what makes the experience. We ask everyone to bring their best energy and their best behaviour.
2. What We Expect From You
When you interact with others on I Sabi Millions — whether in live game chat, on community features, or in any public-facing part of the App — we expect you to:
- Be respectful. Disagree with the question? Fine. Disagree with another player? Fine. But keep it civil. Attack arguments, not people.
- Be inclusive. Our community spans all 36 states and FCT, and multiple countries. No ethnicity, religion, gender, or background is less welcome here. Play like it.
- Keep it clean. The show is open to adults 18+, but that is not a licence for explicit, graphic, or sexually suggestive content in community spaces.
- Play fair. Do not use in-game chat or community channels to share answers, coordinate cheating, or organise attempts to game the show.
- Be honest. Do not impersonate I Sabi Millions staff, other players, celebrities, or anyone else.
- Speak freely — but not harmfully. We celebrate Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, and every other language in our community. What we do not celebrate is using any language to demean, intimidate, or harass.
3. What Is Not Allowed
3.1 Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that attacks, demeans, or calls for discrimination against any person or group based on ethnicity, tribe, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Ethnic slurs or tribal stereotyping used to demean or inflame;
- Religious insults or content designed to provoke sectarian conflict;
- Content that dehumanises any person or group; and
- Dog-whistling, coded language, or symbolic content with an evident discriminatory intent.
Nigeria's ethnic and religious diversity is one of our greatest strengths and one of our greatest responsibilities. Content that inflames tribal or religious tensions has no place in I Sabi Millions — regardless of the language it is written in or the community it targets.
3.2 Harassment, Bullying, and Threats
We do not tolerate:
- Targeted harassment of any individual player, whether in public chat or via private messaging;
- Coordinated pile-ons, brigading, or encouraging others to harass a user;
- Threats of violence, harm, or retaliation — real or implied;
- Sharing or threatening to share another person's private information without their consent ("doxxing"); and
- Prolonged unwanted contact with another user after they have asked you to stop.
3.3 Sexually Explicit Content
Sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content is prohibited in all community spaces, regardless of the ages of the parties involved.
3.4 Spam, Scams, and Misinformation
Do not:
- Post repetitive messages, unsolicited promotional content, or chain messages;
- Impersonate I Sabi Millions, BMO Projects Ltd, or our staff to obtain information, money, or account access from other users;
- Share false information about I Sabi Millions game results, prize structures, or operational matters; or
- Share links to external sites, applications, or services that compete with I Sabi Millions or that may harm other users.
3.5 Cheating and Collusion
Using community features to cheat is a violation of both these Guidelines and our Terms of Use. This includes:
- Sharing question answers in live game chat during a Game Session;
- Coordinating with other players to jointly answer questions or manipulate outcomes;
- Using community channels to recruit others into multi-account schemes;
- Farming XP through automation, dummy accounts to harvest referral XP, or any pattern not reflecting genuine participation in a live Game Session or Practice mode (see Terms of Use Section 8.7 for the definition of XP); and
- Distributing or promoting third-party tools, scripts, or applications intended to assist in answering questions or circumventing game mechanics.
3.6 Minors
I Sabi Millions is an 18+ platform. Do not share content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors. Any such content will be removed immediately and the account permanently closed. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement in such cases.
3.7 Self-Harm and Harmful Content
Do not share content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instruction on self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities. If you or someone in our community appears to be in crisis, please contact a mental health support line. In Nigeria, the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH) is available for support.
4. Live Game Chat — Additional Rules
The live game show chat is a fast-moving, exciting space. A few extra rules apply:
- No answer-sharing. Posting answers — or hints at answers — in live chat during an active question window is cheating and will result in disqualification and account review;
- Keep it relevant. Off-topic spam during a live show degrades the experience for everyone;
- Respect the host. Our hosts work hard to run the show. Personal attacks on hosts are not tolerated; and
- Chat moderation during live shows may be automated. Some messages may be filtered or delayed by our moderation tools. Do not attempt to circumvent moderation filters.
5. How We Moderate
5.1 Moderation Approach
We use a combination of automated moderation tools and human moderators to review content and enforce these Guidelines. Automated tools may filter or remove content in real time during live Game Sessions. Human review is applied to reports and complex cases.
Moderation is guided by these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, and our moderators' judgment in context. We recognise that language — particularly Nigerian Pidgin and vernacular expressions — can be playful, ironic, or culturally specific. Our moderators are trained to apply context, not just keyword matching.
5.2 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the nature and severity of a breach, we may take one or more of the following actions:
| Action | When Applied |
|---|---|
| Warning | First or minor breach — content removed, user notified |
| Temporary chat ban | Repeated minor breaches or a single moderate breach — restricted from chat for a defined period |
| Account suspension | Serious breach or pattern of misconduct — full account access suspended pending review |
| Permanent account closure | Severe breach (e.g., hate speech, harassment campaign, cheating, CSAM) or persistent misconduct after prior enforcement |
| Law enforcement referral | Where content involves credible threats, illegal material, or fraud affecting other users |
We reserve the right to apply any enforcement action at any level of severity, at our discretion, depending on the circumstances. Enforcement actions that result in account closure are subject to our dispute process (Section 7).
5.3 No Circumvention
Attempting to circumvent enforcement actions — including by creating a new account following a ban or suspension — is a violation of our Terms of Use and may result in all associated accounts being closed.
6. How to Report a Violation
If you see content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, please report it:
- In-app: Use the "Report" button available on any message or user profile in the App;
- Email: Send a report to support@isabimillions.com with the subject line "Community Report", including a description of the issue and any relevant screenshots or usernames; or
- For urgent safety concerns (threats, illegal content, self-harm): Email legal@isabimillions.com immediately.
We investigate all reports. We do not disclose the identity of reporting users to the subject of the report.
7. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action taken against your account was applied incorrectly or unfairly, you may appeal by emailing support@isabimillions.com with the subject line "Moderation Appeal" within 14 days of the action. Include:
- Your registered username and phone number;
- The specific action you are appealing and the date it was applied; and
- Your reasons for believing the action was incorrect, with any supporting context.
Appeals are reviewed by a moderator not involved in the original decision. We aim to respond within [TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE PUBLICATION] business days. Our appeal decision is final. Repeat or frivolous appeals may not be reviewed.
8. Creator and Influencer Conduct
If you create content about I Sabi Millions — whether on social media, YouTube, podcasts, or any other platform — you are welcome to do so, but please note:
- You may not represent yourself as an official I Sabi Millions partner, ambassador, or affiliate without written authorisation from BMO Projects Ltd;
- You may not share unreleased game content, questions, or prizes without our written consent;
- You may not use the I Sabi Millions name, logo, or brand assets in a misleading or defamatory way; and
- Content about I Sabi Millions that you publish publicly remains subject to these Community Guidelines insofar as it relates to our community and other users.
If you are interested in an official partnership or ambassador arrangement, contact us at legal@isabimillions.com.
9. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or your registered contact details. The current version of these Guidelines is always available at /community-guidelines.
